Privacy policy

We are Sevanetti Ice Cream Bikes, based in Exeter, Devon. We decide how the details you give us are used. You can reach us at hello@sevanettiicecreambikes.com.

If you use the contact form, we collect your name, your email address, your phone number (only if you give it), your message, and the date and time you sent it.

We do not store your IP address or any account details. We have no accounts or logins for visitors.

We use your details to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to arrange your booking. We also send you an email to confirm we received your message.

The legal reasons are that you asked us to get in touch, and that we have a genuine business need to answer enquiries. We do not use your details for marketing and we do not sell them.

These companies run parts of the site for us. They handle your details only to provide that service:

• Cloudflare hosts the website, keeps the stored messages in its database, and checks that the form is filled in by a person (Turnstile).
• Amazon Web Services sends the confirmation email, from its London data centre.
• Microsoft provides our email mailbox, where your message arrives.

These companies may handle data outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards such as the UK's approved contract terms.

Messages stored from the contact form are deleted automatically after 12 months. We can delete yours sooner if you ask. Emails in our own mailbox are kept only as long as we need them for your enquiry and our records.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run website analytics.

• Your cookie choice. When you press Accept or Decline on the banner, we remember your choice in your browser, so we do not ask again.
• Google reviews. The reviews on our Reviews page come from Elfsight and Google. They load only if you press Accept. If you decline, nothing is loaded from them.
• Google Maps. The maps on our pages are provided by Google. When a page with a map loads, Google can see your IP address and may set its own cookies.
• Cloudflare Turnstile. The spam check on the contact form runs in your browser and may set a cookie to do its job.

You can ask us to show you the details we hold about you, correct them, or delete them. You can also ask us to stop using them. Email hello@sevanettiicecreambikes.com and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would like the chance to put things right first.

If we change how we use your details, we will update this page and the date below.
